Albert Maysles at SXSW

Read Michael Fox's SF Weekly review of the movie. Read the review by Ken Eisner posted on Variety.com. February, 2002 One Thousand Years played at the Victoria Independent Film and Video Festival of Victoria, Canada, early February, 2002. Gabriel Fleming was lucky enough to attend, and enjoyed a very enthusiastic response from the audience. Take a look at their site: www.vifvf.com
March, 2002 One Thousand Years had three successful screenings at the SXSW (South by Southwest) Film Festival of Austin, TX in March. Fleming hob-nobbed with filmmakers and industry-types during a seemingly endless stream of exhausting parties. Look at their site: www.sxsw.com
April, 2002 One Thousand Years played at the Bare Bones Film Festival in Muskogee, Oklahoma in April. Due to financial constraints, Fleming was not able to attend. Bare Bones website: www.BareBones2002.sites.cc
May, 2002 One Thousand Years played at the venerable Dallas Video Festival in May. Again, Fleming was not able to attend this fantastic festival. Take a look at the Dallas Video Festival website: www.videofest.org
June, 2002 One Thousand Years will be playing at the deadCENTER Film Festival in Edmond, Oklahoma. Fleming has no idea why the movie appeals so much to people in the Texas-Oklahoma corridor. Take a look at deadCENTER's site: www.deadcenterfilm.com |
